304 grade stainless steel in a credit card footprint. Numbered rows keep a 24 word recovery phrase in order.
Place one plate over the other. Line up a letter stencil, then guide the engraving tip through it to mark the steel below.
The tungsten tipped engraving pen is included with every kit. Clients engrave their own words privately, without uploading a phrase or sending it to your business.
The extra bottom row holds a wallet nickname, such as MAIN WALLET, separate from the 24 numbered recovery word rows.

Clients engrave and store their own recovery phrases. Never ask them to share a phrase, photograph it or send it to your firm. Keep backups secure and separate from information that identifies the wallet.

We applied a blowtorch to an engraved plate, let it cool and read the words back from the steel.
This demonstration is not a certified fire rating or a guarantee of survival in every fire. Exposure, engraving quality and where the plate is stored still matter.
